Nick Horne grew up in Southern California, spending most of his time on the beaches andin the mountains. It is here where he caught the photography bug. After receiving a Minolta
Weathermatic waterproof point and shoot camera one Christmas,Nick started photographing his friends surfing, skiing, and snowboarding. A photojournalism class at a local college inspired him to pursue photography as a career and he has never looked back.
After college, Nick traveled to Europe where his focus shifted to beauty and fashion. He spent several years in Milan, Barcelona, Miami, and New York, photographing magazine editorials, advertising campaigns and more.
Since returning home to LA to enjoy the Southern California lifestyle, he can usually be found taking photographs in the water, or in the mountains. Check out his photos in many publications, including Vogue Mexico, where he helped to feature @cesar_arellanes, or his shoots in the Santa Monica Mountains for @avarey.xo. His other clients include Cover Girl Cosmopolitan, and Glamour Vogue Italia.
These days, Nick loves to shoot anywhere in and near Malibu, while traveling and fine art photography is one of his latest passions.
