We are soaking up the last few weeks of summer but seriously ready for fall. September 22nd is the first day of fall and the first day that we can sip our pumpkin spice lattes without fear of judgement. The coming of fall also signifies the opportunity for new fall hair colors! We are always looking for an excuse to mix up our hair color.
Fall Hair Color Watch
We have been anxiously watching the trends in the last few months of summer so we can be the first to make the fall transition. Summer ’18 has been so good to us. We loved the beach days and the late summer nights with friends. Our hairstyles reflected the easy-going low-maintenance summer vibes. Now that fall is around the corner, we don’t want to let go off our easy-going styles just yet. This fall we are all about subtle changes that create a big difference.
a technique for highlighting the hair in which the dye is painted on in such a way as to create a graduated, natural-looking effect.
If you were living in blonde or light brown highlights this summer, keep ’em! But talk to our stylists about bringing down the color of your roots to about jaw length. This will give your look an overall darker hue while still keeping your tips looking sun-kissed. This is your perfect fall hair color if you are going for a low maintenance look while still welcoming fall. The darker color will also help bring out your eyes, and but your lighter colored tips will make the color change not-so-drastic.
On the other end of the spectrum, we have lots of more dramatic fall hair colors. This fall we are loving a dramatic rich auburn. There’s nothing that says fall better than warm, red, hues. Ask one our highly trained and experienced Glamifornia hair stylists for an all-over color while pulling some pieces to lighten. This will give that beautiful dimension while still holding the drama of a red color.
Another look we are loving is a beautiful and playful magenta balayage. This look is so fun and sexy at the same time. It screams confidence and playfulness. We love the super thin, bright, magenta highlights with dark roots mixed with some cool blonde tones. This look is perfect for a fresh new back-to-school hair color for your first year of university. You can even switch up the colors, going for a violet or a light blue instead of magenta. This look doesn’t take much up-keep as long as you are using the right shampoo, conditioner, and product trio. One of our Glamifornia stylists will be more than happy to help you with everything that goes into your new fall style.
As we bid farewell to the warmer summer months, we are excited for the anticipation and change that falls brings. A new season, a new hair style, a new you. Glamifornia Style Lounge is here to help you get there.
